By registering for any tournament or event organized by Streamline Chess Organizers (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are registering a minor (under the age of 18) as a parent, guardian, or authorized school representative, you warrant that you have the necessary authority to accept these terms on behalf of the participant(s).
- The Tournament Administration & Logistics Fee is billed at a fixed rate of R150.00 per player, per event.
- There are zero hidden transaction, admin, or booking fees at online checkout.
- The Company deliberately absorbs all software-platform processing costs (including website registration platform and Paystack gateway fees) as a fixed business overhead.
- All SMART Tournament registrations are captured directly on this website and then transferred to the Tornelo tournament management platform for official pairings and event administration.
- All registration fee collections are processed securely via the integrated Paystack payment gateway.
- In compliance with financial risk regulations and professional cut-off policies, no manual registrations, on-site walk-ins, or cash reconciliations will be handled at the venue.
- All participant credentials must be fully captured on our online portal, and all fee settlements completed via Paystack prior to the official commencement of any scheduled event.
Because tournaments are officially Chess SA rated, providing a valid 10-digit Chess SA ID is mandatory for registration.
- Existing rated players must lookup and provide their official ID from the national database (https://chessa.co.za). The player or registering representative is responsible for ensuring this number is correct.
- Brand-new or unrated competitors must enter a zero (“0”) as a placeholder. This triggers the system to flag the profile for permanent ID generation by the National Ratings Officer post-event.
- All tournament administration and logistics fees are strictly non-refundable.
- Exceptions to this policy are made solely in the event of an official tournament cancellation sanctioned directly by the Director of Streamline Chess Organizers.

In accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa, the Company will only collect, process, and store personal data (names, IDs, contact details) required for tournament administration.
• By registering, you consent to your tournament data (including name, Chess SA ID, and results) being submitted to Chess SA for official rating purposes and published on public leaderboards.
Streamline Chess Organizers, its Director, appointed arbiters, and event volunteers shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, damage to personal property, or injury incurred by any participant or spectator at a tournament venue. Attendance and participation are entirely at your own risk.
